Terms and conditions,
You agree to the terms and conditions set forth below by registering for a DreamHack ticket on this
website. By attending DreamHack Austin or any part of DreamHack Austin, you agree to allow
DreamHack Inc., its agents, licensees or assignees, the right to use your image and/or likeness by
media now known or hereafter devised for advertising and/or other promotional purposes. You also
agree not to take pictures or videos where posted or announced as prohibited and agree that any
permitted photos or videos will not be used for any commercial purposes and will not be made publicly
available or generally displayed without prior written consent of DreamHack Inc.

By registering for a paid or complimentary DreamHack Austin badge you agree not to sell, trade,
transfer or share your comp code, barcode confirmation, or badge. In the event that DreamHack Inc.
determines that you have violated this policy, DreamHack Inc has the right to cancel your badge(s)
and keep any money paid by you. Barcode confirmations and/or badges that have been sold or
provided by anyone other than DreamHack Inc will not be honored by DreamHack Inc.

You must wear and display your badge at all times while onsite and at any official DreamHack Inc
event. All badges are the property of DreamHack Inc and must be relinquished to DreamHack Inc
upon request. DreamHack Inc reserves the right to refuse admission, to refuse service and/or to
cancel/revoke your Member ID and/or badge at DreamHack Inc’s discretion.

DreamHack Inc may perform any of the following validation of badges on entry to any area of the
convention. These measures are an effort to prevent illegal badge duplication and unauthorized
reselling. DreamHack Inc may scan the bar code, require a photo ID that matches the name on the
badge, scan RFID embedded in the badge, and examine the badge with other technological and/or
physical methods to verify authenticity of the badge and holder. Before leaving any registration area
please make sure that the name on the badge matches your identification.

I understand that I must register an individual name for each badge and that each name must match
a photo ID to receive a badge onsite.

You must register for a DreamHack ticket account in order to be entitled to purchase and register a
badge. Children (age 12 and under) may not register for a DreamHack ticket account. Everyone who
intends to purchase, apply, or register for a DreamHack badge must have a valid and confirmed
DreamHack ticket account. This includes attendees, volunteers, professionals, trade professionals,
exhibitor main contacts, and members of the press. If Dreamack Inc determines that you purchased
or registered for a badge, but did not register for a DreamHack ticket account, DreamHack Inc. has
the right to cancel your badge and refund any amounts paid.

Although DreamHack Inc makes efforts to ensure the purchase of badges is easy, efficient, and
equitable, DreamHack Inc makes no guarantee, warranty, or representation that, by logging onto the
Web site with a DreamHack ticket account, you are entitled to or be able to purchase a badge. Due to
the limited number of badges and the large volume of DreamHack ticket account holders, badges are
sold as long as they are available. Please be advised that DreamHack Inc badges sell out very quickly.

Not all persons eligible to purchase a badge will be able to purchase a badge. Additionally, DreamHack
Inc makes no guarantee, warranty, or representation that the Web site will function properly
throughout the badge sales process AND ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED CONDITIONS,
REPRESENTATIONS, AND WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING,
USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT
ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW. In the event that the Web site malfunctions, DreamHack Inc will try
to rectify the problem in a timely fashion. Notwithstanding, by using the Web site you agree that IN
NO EVENT SHALL DREAMHACK INC, ITS PRINCIPALS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OR AFFILIATES BE
LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES RESULTING
FROM THE USE OF THE WEB SITE OR THE BADGE SALE AND REGISTRATION PROCESS. You agree to
indemnify and hold harmless DreamHack Inc., its shareholders, directors, officers, employees,
affiliates, and agents, from and against any and all losses, costs (including reasonable attorney’s
fees), damages, claims, expenses and liabilities arising from or in connection with your breach or
failure to comply with these terms and conditions. This Contract shall be governed by and construed
in accordance with the internal laws (and not the laws of conflicts) of the State of Delaware.
