The First North America Summer Regional to take place at DreamHack All-Stars Austin!
The first DreamHack All-Stars event of the year, DreamHack Austin on May 6-7, will host the first Heroes of the Storm North America Summer Regional with a prize pool of $100,000 and a spot in the Summer Global Championship on the line.
DreamHack is making its first stop in North America and, in doing so, setting a grand stage for Heroes of the Storm. Eight of the best teams in North America will gather to compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool as well as a chance to compete in the Global Summer Championship at DreamHack Summer in June.
Competition in North America is sure to be intense as teams from across the continent fight to eliminate last year’s global champions, Cloud9, and claim their spot on the global stage.
Qualifiers
The first two qualifiers, on April 9th and 10th, will be open sign-ups and single elimination to qualify two teams each. The final, third qualifier will take place across April 16th and 17th and will be double elimination for the top eight teams that did not earn entry to the second Europe Summer Regional already.
