DreamHack Austin 2016 will feature a wide range of esport tournament and entertainment rating from open tournaments for all participants in the BYOC area to professional tournaments in a Arena style environment. DreamHack Austin features some of the most popular titles like Counter.Strike:Global Offensive, Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Hearthstone, StarCraft II & more.
COUNTER-STRIKE: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE
Following a very successful 2015 with CS:GO, the world’s best first-person shooter will be a part of DreamHack ZOWIE Open. As apart of the 2016 season, CS:GO will feature a $500,000 prize pool, spanning across five worldwide stops, including the first DreamHack event in North America.

HEARTHSTONE
The tournament will feature a $27,500 prize pool, roughly 200 competitors, and will be played out over 3 days. In addition, DreamHack will also be adding extra side events and tournaments for players knocked out of the main contest on day 1 or 2. Each stop on the circuit will have side tournaments on the second and third days, with $5,000 in prizes on offer for players who weren’t too lucky in the Swiss competition.

DreamHack is very happy to once again be a part of the Capcom Pro Tour for the upcoming 2016 season. This season Capcom Pro Tour features the brand new game, Street Fighter V and a whole new structure for the tour. Capcom Pro Tour will be featured at DreamHack Austin May 6-8 as a North American Ranking event.
